Qualifications

  • No formal education required; 2 years relevant experience required or HS diploma/GED substituting for 2 years of experience.
  • 2 years of relevant experience; HS Diploma or GED may substitute for 2 years of work experience.
  • Recommended certifications include Boiler Operator License, HVAC/R License, Industrial Maintenance Electrician, Journeyman Electrician, EPA Universal Technician.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to service calls and provide preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of Building Automation Systems.
  • Interpret wiring diagrams and control schematics to maintain system functionality.
  • Monitor systems, document alarms, and repair equipment as needed.
  • Assist with special projects and propose efficiency improvements.
  • Prepare and deliver training presentations.
