Job summary

Saint-Gobain/CertainTeed in Minnesota is seeking a Production Panel Line Control Room Operator to monitor, control, and optimize production from a central control room. The role involves interpreting system data, responding to alarms, adjusting process parameters, and coordinating with operators, maintenance, and supervisors to sustain quality and productivity.

The position offers a 6:00 PM – 4:00 AM shift with potential overtime, a $5,000 sign-on bonus, and a four-month day-shift training

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree or technical training preferred.
• 2+ years of manufacturing or process operations experience preferred.
• Experience with automated production equipment is preferred.
• Ability to monitor and interpret production data and alarms.

Responsibilities

• Monitor panel line performance using control panels and HMI/SCADA systems.
• Start up, shut down, and adjust production processes per SOPs.
• Analyze real-time data, trends, and alarms to correct deviations.
• Maintain production rates while meeting safety, quality, and output targets.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and regulations.
• Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies.
• Document shift activities and production data.
• Participate in shift handovers for continuity.
• Support preventive maintenance activities.
• Assist with testing and commissioning after maintenance or changes.
