Job summary

A leading construction firm is seeking a Safety Coordinator to support a large-scale construction project in Kentucky. This role involves conducting safety assessments, mentoring field personnel, and collaborating with teams to ensure compliance with safety programs. Ideal candidates have construction safety experience, preferably in electrical environments, and hold an OSHA 30 Construction certification. The position is on a night shift and aims to promote a robust safety culture.

Qualifications

• Proven construction safety experience, preferably in electrical construction.
• Familiarity with industry standards such as NFPA, NESC, ANSI, and ASTM.
• OSHA 30 Construction certification required.
• Experience working in union labor environments is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Foremen and Superintendents to develop Job Hazard Analyses.
• Conduct daily field safety walks to assess compliance and identify hazards.
• Support implementation of site-specific safety programs.
• Provide coaching and mentoring to reinforce safe work behaviors.
• Assist with new hire safety orientations.
