Job summary

Mitsubishi Chemical America is seeking a Compounder in Scranton, PA to support resin and regrind material processing. You will operate mixers, scales, forklifts, and regrind equipment, following formulas, schedules, and safety standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, forklift certification is a plus, and prior manufacturing experience is preferred. Benefits begin Day 1, with a $1,000 sign-on bonus and competitive pay of $23.51 per hour plus a $1.00 shift differential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Forklift experience or ability to become forklift certified.
• Manufacturing or production experience preferred.
• Experience with mixing, compounding, plastics, chemicals, or material processing preferred.
• Basic math and measurement skills required.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn manufacturing systems.

Responsibilities

• Follow formulas and procedures to mix resin, pigments, liquids, powders, and reprocessed materials.
• Weigh and measure materials using scales and other measuring equipment.
• Operate mixers, hoppers, regrind equipment, forklifts, and related production equipment.
• Maintain safety and 6S requirements.
• Complete production and compounding reports accurately.
• Label and identify finished materials.
