Job summary

Mitsubishi Chemical Advanced Materials Inc. is seeking a Compounder in Scranton, PA. The role features a 7:00 PM–7:00 AM shift and pay of $23.51 per hour, plus a $1.00 shift differential.

You will prepare resins and regrind materials, operate mixers and related equipment, and follow safety and quality procedures. Responsibilities include precise measuring, loading, maintaining equipment, and documenting production data using the Movex system.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Forklift experience or ability to become forklift certified.
• Experience in manufacturing or production preferred.
• Attention to detail and safe work practices.
• Ability to follow formulas, procedures, and safety instructions.

Responsibilities

• Follow formulas and procedures to mix resin, pigments, and reprocessed materials.
• Weigh and measure materials using scales and other equipment.
• Safely operate mixers, hoppers, regrind equipment, forklifts, and related production equipment.
• Load mixers with raw materials and manage material handling.
• Monitor processes to ensure quality and production requirements.
• Use the Movex system to follow production schedules and enter work orders.
• Complete production and compounding reports accurately.
• Label and identify finished materials per procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and assist with training new staff.
