BSM Construction, Inc. is seeking a skilled Commercial Lead Carpenter & Retail TI Framing/Finish Lead to direct hands-on framing, drywall, and hardware installations across commercial job sites in the Greater Los Angeles area from our Azusa hub.

In this central field role, you will execute off-shift night builds and retail TI projects for national brand clients. You will lead structural layout, metal stud framing, drywall, DFH hanging, and interior/exterior finish carpentry while collaborating

Formación

• Mandatory Schedule Capability: Ability and willingness to work mandatory night shifts and weekend phases strictly required to accommodate active retail client hours.
• Commercial Carpentry Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in commercial construction, metal stud framing, drywall hanging, or finish carpentry.
• Hardware & Frame Mastery: Ability to measure, layout, cut, set, and install commercial doors, metal frames, and architectural hardware packages.
• Specialized Tool Assets: Must possess standard personal hand and power tools required for commercial metal stud framing, drywall, and finish carpentry work.
• Mobility & Driver Credentials: Valid California Driver License with an insurable driving record and reliable transportation to commute to sites across the Los Angeles metro area.
• Travel Willingness: Availability for occasional regional project travel outside the daily commuting area (per diem).

Responsabilidades

• Metal Stud Framing & Layout: Perform precision layout work for commercial interior builds and retail spaces.
• Drywall & Panel Installation: Hang drywall, gypsum board, insulation, and cement board per specs.
• Door, Frame & Hardware Installation: Install commercial doors, frames, hardware, and related components.
• Interior & Exterior Finish Carpentry: Install finish carpentry, trim, millwork across facilities.
• Off-Shift Troubleshooting: Resolve issues during night shifts and communicate progress and schedule look-aheads to superintendents.
• Safety & Clean Work Zone Stewardship: Enforce OSHA standards and PPE, protect assets during night operations.
• Tooling & Fleet Care: Maintain personal tools and company vehicles as per policy.
