Strong communication and a commitment to safety and quality are essential, with overtime and weekend work possible as demands rise. The role focuses on safe machine operation, accurate reporting, setup, and ensuring product dimensions meet specifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong verbal communication and human relations skills expected.
• Experience with machine operation is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Work safely and follow all policies to ensure a safe environment.
• Accurately report time, production, and material usage.
• Set up machines, prepare materials, and retrieve paper from storage.
• Enter production run information into a computer, including measurements.
• Report irregularities and maintenance needs to the supervisor.
• Operate, change over, start up, and clean machines.
• Check raw materials against run requirements to prevent shortages.
• Verify dimensions with a ruler to ensure product quality.
• Troubleshoot machine issues and suggest process improvements.
• Maintain clean and orderly work area.
