Job summary

HOERBIGER Automatisierungstechnik Holding GmbH is seeking a CNC Setup Operator for the 3rd shift (10:00 pm - 6:00 am) to set up and operate CNC turning and milling centers on metal and polymer workpieces. You will ensure precision, read programs, load tools, and verify parts against blueprints.

Ideal candidates have 3-5 years of CNC experience, basic math skills, and proficiency in English. Safety-conscious, you will maintain quality and document procedures while supporting efficient production

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to set up and operate CNC machining centers.
• English language skills to read instructions and communicate.

Responsibilities

• Read programs, identify errors, and set up machines.
• Set up and operate CNC turning and/or milling centers.
• Load cutting tools and secure workpieces; adjust tooling where needed.
• Monitor cutting operations and verify against blueprints and specs.
• Use gauges (micrometers, calipers, depth gauges, thread gauges) to inspect parts.
• Complete quality and production documentation; report anomalies.
