Job summary

Allied Electric Sign & Awning Co. is seeking a CNC Router Operator for the night shift in Vineyard, UT to produce precision-cut materials for custom signage. The role requires strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and independent routing operations in a fast-paced fabrication environment.

The ideal candidate has experience with CNC routers, sign industry work, and proficiency in EnRoute or similar software, with the ability to read shop drawings and maintain a safe workspace.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a CNC Router in a production or fabrication environment.
• Sign industry experience is required.
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and work orders.
• Proficient with EnRoute, Composer, or comparable routing software.
• Mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot tooling, feeds, and speeds.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and maintain CNC routers (primarily Multicam).
• Set up and execute routing operations using EnRoute software.
• Prepare and load materials, secure workpieces, verify machine settings.
• Troubleshoot and adjust tooling, feeds, and speeds for optimal performance.
• Inspect finished parts for quality, accuracy, and adherence to specifications.
• Utilize Composer to design, adjust, and prepare routing files.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance on CNC equipment.
