Fabuwood Cabinetry Corp in Newark, NJ is seeking a Night Shift CNC Department Manager to lead the night operations, ensuring safe, consistent, and efficient production across CNC machining. You will supervise supervisors, drive productivity, manage machine uptime, and collaborate with Day Shift CNC Manager, Quality, Maintenance, and Production teams to meet daily goals.

Qualifications

5+ years of manufacturing leadership experience.
Hands-on leadership in CNC machining or high-volume production.
Demonstrated ability to improve productivity and reduce downtime.
Strong communication and decision-making skills for night shift operations.
Experience with production data and performance metrics.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and develop supervisors, team leads, and production employees across the night shift.
Own night shift CNC production performance, including safety, quality, output, and labor efficiency.
Oversee approximately 10 CNC machines and supporting production equipment to meet daily goals.
Manage staffing, overtime, workflow, and production priorities based on capacity.
Monitor equipment downtime and drive reliability improvements with Maintenance.
Address quality issues with Quality and Production teams to prevent repeats.
Review production data to identify opportunities to increase machine output and efficiency.
Provide clear daily shift reporting and handoffs with the Day Shift CNC Manager.
