Job summary

Daimler Truck North America is seeking a CNC Mill and Lathe Operator in Byesville, OH. You will set up and operate HAAS/Cincinnati CNC machines to mill, punch, and drill metal parts, reading gauges and following work instructions.

The role requires manual dexterity, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and adherence to safety and quality standards. Training on various rotations and a preventive culture are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Must be capable of repetitive hand manipulation, grasping and supporting power tools.
• Must be able to stand on concrete for entire shift with repetitive bending, stooping, twisting, reaching and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Must maintain a clean work area and meet quality standards.
• Cross train on other jobs as required.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machinery (HAAS, Cincinnati, Vertical/Horizontal Lathes) to mill, punch, and drill parts.
• Load and unload parts, set up machines, read gauges, and ensure parts meet specifications.
• Follow safety guidelines, improve work area, and participate in continuous improvement.
• Read Work Station Instructions and use drawings, BOMs, and specs.
