Job summary

ONWARD SEARCH is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist for the Night Shift in the Berks/Lancaster/Chester county area. You will operate and set up advanced CNC machinery to manufacture precision parts, working with Fanuc controls, and ensuring drawings are followed.

The role requires a minimum of 5 years' experience in manufacturing, ability to read drawings and GD&T, strong measurement and tooling knowledge, and willingness to operate overhead cranes. Hours are Monday-Thursday, 4pm-2am.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a machinist in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated understanding of safety protocols in machine operation.
• Ability to read technical drawings and interpret GD&T standards.
• Strong measuring, inspection, and tooling knowledge.
• High School Diploma or GED and willingness to operate overhead cranes.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines using Fanuc controls to produce parts according to specifications.
• Edit and program CNC machine software to optimize production runs.
• Select appropriate tooling and configure machine setups for different materials.
• Inspect and measure parts to confirm they match drawing requirements.
• Prepare, deburr, and machine complex components including weldments and castings.
