ONWARD SEARCH is partnering with a manufacturing client to recruit a CNC Machinist for the night shift. The role is on-site and involves setting up and operating advanced CNC machines, inspecting parts, and ensuring safety and quality.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of machining experience, GD&T understanding, and proficiency with Fanuc controls. Strong tooling, program editing, and a focus on a clean, safe workspace are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a machinist in manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of GD&T and drawings.
• Experience programming, editing, and troubleshooting CNCs.
• Ability to use hand and power tools effectively.
• Must be physically able to lift and operate machinery.

Responsibilities

This permanent role is based on-site and involves setting up and operating advanced CNC machines, working with a variety of materials. The ideal candidate has extensive machining experience and a strong focus on safety.

CNC Machinist Night Shift Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC machines with Fanuc controls, editing programs as needed.
• Select, install, and verify all tooling required for machining tasks.
• Machine, inspect, and deburr parts to exact drawing specifications.
• Plan and execute machining processes across diverse materials.
• Maintain safety standards and ensure a clean, organized workspace.

CNC Machinist Night Shift Qualifications:

• Over 5 years of experience as a machinist in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated understanding of GD&T and reading detailed drawings.
• Proficiency in programming, editing, and troubleshooting CNC equipment.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools effectively.
• High School Diploma or GED, with physical ability to perform job duties, including lifting and operating machinery.
