Cust-O-Fab in Beaumont, TX is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to set up and operate CNC drills and machining equipment to produce quality parts according to drawings and specs. You will read blueprints, measure parts with precision tools, and ensure safety, quality, and productivity on the shop floor.

The role requires 2+ years CNC drill experience and the ability to work overtime when needed. Candidates should be mechanically minded and able to work both independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 2 years CNC drill experience.
• Minimum 1 year manufacturing experience.
• Able to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Able to use precision measuring tools.
• Knowledge of G-code and M-code preferred.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able to work overtime as needed.
• Team player with strong mechanical aptitude.
• Safety-conscious with PPE compliance.

Responsabilités

• Set up and operate CNC drills and machining equipment to produce parts.
• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings for specifications.
• Measure parts using tape measures, calipers, dial indicators, micrometers, and other tools.
• Remove slag and grind to finish parts.
• Operate overhead cranes to load/unload machines and position parts.
• Cut supports to required lengths using a hot saw.
• Occasionally operate forklifts as required.
• Complete assigned work according to safety, quality, and production requirements.
