Millat Industries, a family-owned manufacturer, seeks a CNC Machinist for the Night Shift in the Kettering/Dayton area. You will interpret blueprints, set up mills and lathes, monitor precision tolerances, and work in a temperature-controlled environment with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualificações

• Detail-driven approach to reading blueprints, sketches, and drawings.
• Strict adherence to safety policies and company procedures.
• Strong attendance and reliability in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to stand, walk, push, pull, reach overhead, and bend to floor.
• Ability to exert between 10 and 50 pounds on an occasional basis.
• Quality-oriented and team-focused mindset.
• Willingness to follow setup requirements and operate multiple machines.

Responsabilidades

• Study blueprints, sketches, drawings, or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances.
• Follow sequence of operations on routers.
• Determine and follow setup requirements on sheets.
• Select, align, and secure holding fixtures and tools on mills, lathes, and saws.
• Set controls for feeds, speeds, and coolant; input/edit programs as needed.
• Monitor machine operations and adjust as required.
• Set up and operate machines on first piece run to verify settings.
• Verify dimensions with micrometers, height gauges, and other inspection tools.
• Coordinate with engineers and team leaders to resolve machining issues.
