Job summary

CNC Machinist - Night Shift

Position Description:

The CNC Milling Machinist performs complex machine setups on 3, 4 and 5 axis machines, has G & M code knowledge, and is able to run and inspect parts with little to no supervision. 2 nd shift (Mon-Fri 330pm-12am) receives a 20% shift differential. 3 rd shift (mon-Fri 1030pm-7am) receives a 25% differential.

• Other duties as directed by supervisor

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary CNC education preferred
• 2+ years of CNC machine operation
• Okuma control knowledge a plus
• Strong verbal communication and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and ability to deal with complexity
• Capable of working in a customer-focused, deadline-driven environment while maintaining a positive attitude
