You will combine hands-on CNC machining expertise with production leadership to meet safety, quality, productivity and on-time delivery of precision aerospace components.

The role suits a skilled machinist who enjoys mentoring others, solving production challenges, and driving continuous improvement in a fast-paced shop environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years CNC machining experience or relevant training.
• Leadership or shop lead experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and perform shop math.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the night shift manufacturing team to achieve production, quality, and safety goals.
• Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting to machinists and operators.
• Set up and operate CNC lathes and mills.
• Load tools, fixtures, and materials accurately.
• Read blueprints and apply shop math for precise machining.
• Adjust offsets and edit programs when needed.
• Inspect parts to ensure they meet specs and quality standards.
• Follow all machining safety practices.
• Assist in R&D and prototype work (if experienced).
• Collaborate on improvements and efficiency.
• Conduct shift handoffs and communicate production status to day shift leadership.
• Assist with employee training and development.
