Job summary

SendCutSend Inc. is seeking a hands-on CNC Machine Operator to run and support CNC fiber laser equipment for precision-cut sheet metal parts. You will setup, operate, and inspect, ensuring parts meet customer specifications and quality standards.

You will collaborate with team leads and supervisors to hit daily production goals, perform routine maintenance, and handle material loading/unloading. The role requires reading drawings and using inspection tools, with a focus on safety and clean,

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of CNC systems and machine controls.
• Ability to read production drawings and flat patterns.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Commitment to safety procedures and clean work area.
• Experience reading gauges and inspection tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor CNC fiber lasers.
• Load material and unload finished parts from machines.
• Verify correct programs, tooling, and material prior to running jobs.
• Perform machine startup, shutdown, and routine daily maintenance.
• Install and set up punches, dies, and job tooling as required.
• Read and interpret 2D and 3D drawings for proper laser and brake setup.
• Measure parts using gauges and inspection tools to verify angles, dimensions, and overall accuracy meet customer specifications.
• Collaborate with team leads and supervisors to meet daily production goals and communicate issues or quality concerns as they arise.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area in alignment with LEAN and 5S principles.
• Assist with inventory of tooling such as punches and dies.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
