Job summary

The Nursing Assistant I at High Point Medical Center - Telemetry (6 South Neuro) in High Point, NC is a full-time role working nights (7pm-7:30am) for 36 hours per week, with every third weekend. You will assist the licensed nurse with basic patient care, observe patients, document vital signs, support hygiene and transports, and help maintain a safe, clean unit.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Successful completion of a Nurse Aide I program and competency evaluation.
• Nurse Aide I Registry active as applicable.
• American Heart Association BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Observe patient condition and report changes to licensed nurse.
• Document vital signs and intake/output accurately.
• Assist with hygiene, mobility, and daily activities as directed.
• Support patient safety and maintain a clean, organized unit.
• Assist with meals, transfers, and routine care under supervision.
• Communicate professionally with patients, families, and staff.
