Qualifications

• Active CNA certification with completion of a CNA program.
• Minimum one year of sub-acute experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 including Booster(s).
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Good physical health to lift/move patients and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Providing personal care for residents under supervision of a licensed and/or registered nurse.
• Assistance with activities of daily living: dressing, bathing, grooming, dining, and recreation.
• Maintain unit organization to ensure smooth operation.
• Answer call lights to determine and meet resident needs.
• Use proper body mechanics when necessary.
• Perform rounds and document changes in patient condition.
• Provide companionship and high-quality care to residents.
• Maintain a clean and healthy environment.
• Prioritize resident activities based on care needs.
• Assist with transitions (wheelchair to bed, etc.).
• Transport residents to dining area for meals and activities.
• Be punctual and professional.
• Other duties as assigned.
