Qualifications

• Current Ohio State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) status is required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.
• Compassionate, resident-focused approach to care.
• Dependable and professional demeanor for night shifts.
• Ability to manage priorities effectively.
• Long-term care or geriatric care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care per each resident’s individualized plan of care.
• Assist with activities of daily living, grooming, hygiene, and toileting.
• Support mobility, transfers, and repositioning as needed.
• Assist with dining and hydration requirements.
• Conduct routine safety and comfort checks during the night.
• Respond promptly to resident needs with compassion.
• Observe and report changes to the Charge Nurse.
• Document care and relevant events accurately.
• Follow infection prevention and control procedures.
• Maintain a safe, quiet, clean, and comfortable environment.
• Collaborate with nurses and care team members.
• Protect resident dignity, privacy, and rights.
