Job summary

Alpharus Health is seeking a CNA for the Caseyville, IL residential facility to work night shifts. The role supports nursing staff in a treatment setting, monitors vital signs, and assists with medication oversight under RN supervision.

The position requires a current CNA and CPR, with at least six months of related experience. Schedule features three 12-hour nights from 6:30 PM to 7:30 AM, with every other weekend.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification is required.
• Minimum 6 months related work experience in nursing or medical support.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• Experience with adults/adolescents in a residential treatment center is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing staff in providing care in a residential treatment setting.
• Under RN supervision, take and document vital signs (temp, pulse, resp., BP, glucose).
• Monitor clients' self-administration of medications and report concerns to nursing staff.
• Conduct periodic dorm checks and safety checks of clients and property.
• Perform tasks such as stocking supplies, changing biohazard bags, answering phones, photocopying, scanning and filing documents.
