Job summary

Alpharus Health in Lake Villa, IL is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a full-time evening shift. The position supports residential treatment clients under RN supervision, with duties including vital signs, medication monitoring, and providing compassionate care in a treatment environment. Location: 25480 W.

Cedarcrest Lane, Lake Villa, IL 60046. Schedule: Tuesday through Saturday, 2:00pm–10:30pm.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification is required.
• Minimum 6 months related nursing/medical assistant experience.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Experience with adults/adolescents in a residential treatment center is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing staff in providing care to clients in a residential treatment setting.
• Under RN supervision, take and document vital signs (temp, pulse, respiration, BP, glucose).
• Monitor self-administration of medications and report changes to nursing staff.
• Conduct periodic checks of dorms, clients, and property for safety and well-being.
• Assist with general tasks: storing supplies, waste handling, phones, photocopying, filing.
