Job summary

Kindred Hospital Tarrant County Southwest in Fort Worth, TX seeks a compassionate Nursing Assistant to support bedside care in a long-term acute care setting.

You will assist with activities of daily living, monitor patients, take vital signs, and collaborate with RNs and LPNs to ensure safe, dignified care throughout shifts.

Qualifications include a current Nursing Assistant Certification, BLS, a High School diploma or equivalent, and at least six months in acute or long-term care.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant with current license.
• BLS certification required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum six months' experience in acute or long-term care.

Responsibilities

• Assist in patient care, activities of daily living, and basic nursing tasks.
• Take vital signs and document accurately.
• Prepare rooms and equipment for admissions, transfers, or discharges.
• Respond to calls and assist with meals and feeding.
• Support RN/LPN with treatments and restraints as directed.
• Maintain cleanliness and comfort of patient rooms.
