Job summary

Advocate Health Care is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant at Atrium Health Floyd Medical Center’s Medical/Surgical IU Oncology unit. The role supports patient comfort, safety and family-centered care under supervision of licensed staff.

The ideal candidate holds a high school diploma or GED, CNA certification, BCLS, and ideally one year of experience. Includes rotating weekends, nights, and holidays with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completed course of instruction from acceptable training school or equivalent training.
• One year of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under supervision and to the extent allowed by CNA scope.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and quiet environment to support patient comfort.
• Promote family-centered care and support to patients across units.
• Collaborate with medical staff and other hospital staff to support adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
