Job summary

The Medical University of South Carolina is seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant to provide basic patient care under the direction of a licensed nurse. The role includes hygiene, feeding, monitoring, and reporting deviations in patient condition.

You will assist with activities of daily living and document vital signs while upholding patient privacy and safety standards. Work is 36 hours per week on the Night shift, on-site at MUSC Health.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of Certified Nursing Assistant program or Patient Care Technician certificate.
• Experience in patient care is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic hygiene, bathing and feeding assistance.
• Obtain vital signs and report findings to the licensed nurse.
• Document patient information accurately and timely.
• Communicate with staff to ensure patient comfort and safety.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and follow safety standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned as part of the care team.
