Job summary

North Carolina Specialty Hospital, part of Surgery Partners, Inc., is seeking a CNA for the Inpatient Unit to work night shifts. Under the supervision of the registered nurse, you will assist patients across the age spectrum with activities of daily living, provide basic care, and support a safe environment while performing clerical duties to aid care delivery.

The role requires CNA certification, BLS, and at least one year of hospital or ambulatory surgical center experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with CNA certification.
• CNA I certification required; CNA II preferred.
• BLS certification through an AHA/ARC accredited course.
• At least 1 year of hospital-based or ambulatory surgical center experience.
• Experience with medical records and computer skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients across the age continuum with activities of daily living and provide basic nursing care.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and provide clerical/receptionist support to enhance patient care.
• Work under pressure with patience, tact, stamina, and endurance; assist physicians in procedures.
