Hopedale Medical Complex in hospital settings seeks a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team. You will support nursing staff with daily patient care, hygiene, meals, mobility, and monitoring. Cross-training in Nursing Home and Commons Assisted Living may occur to support staffing needs.

Night shift 6:00 p.m. – 6:30 a.m. Eligibility includes CPR and high school diploma; strong communication and teamwork are essential to deliver safe, patient-centered care.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to recognize and report changes in patient condition.
• Ability to work collaboratively with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals.
• Ability to work independently while following established policies, procedures, and nursing direction.
• Dependability and professionalism in delivering quality patient care.

Responsabilidades

• Assist professional nursing staff with daily patient care activities and assigned nursing interventions.
• Provide assistance with bathing, grooming, dressing, oral care, toileting, and other personal hygiene needs.
• Assist patients with meals and feeding as needed, following care plans and dietary instructions.
• Measure and record vital signs and report abnormal findings to nursing staff.
• Assist patients with ambulation, mobility, and transfers between beds, chairs, and wheelchairs.
• Reposition patients to promote comfort and prevent pressure injuries.
• Prepare and maintain patient rooms with supplies and equipment.
• Observe patients and report changes to nursing staff.
• Communicate respectfully with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
