Job summary

Caswell Developmental Center is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant/Health Care Technician I for the Nursing Department. This part-time role supports adults with complex medical needs, providing direct care and monitoring in a respectful home-like environment.

Responsibilities include vital signs, basic treatments, and specialized care such as Foley, tracheostomy, and G-tube assistance. Minimum education is a high school diploma or equivalent; good standing with NC registry is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; CNA/HCT-I listed as applicable.
• Must maintain good standing with NC Health Care Personnel Registry.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to adults with developmental disabilities in a home-like setting.
• Perform vital signs monitoring and basic treatments as trained.
• Assist with Foley, tracheostomy, and G-tube care and respond to needs promptly.
