Job summary

Health & Human Services in North Carolina is seeking a part-time Health Care Technician I (S) for the Caswell Developmental Center. The role provides direct care to adults with developmental disabilities in a home-like setting, under Nursing Department supervision.

Responsibilities include lifting, monitoring vital signs, and delivering care such as Foley, tracheostomy, and G-tube support. Training (NCI, CPR) is required, with a 7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m. shift.

Qualifications

• High School or GED is required.
• Must be in good standing with the NC Health Care Personnel Registry.
• Willingness to complete training (NCI, CPR, Body Mechanics).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to developmentally disabled adults.
• Assist with treatments and monitoring of patients.
• Collaborate with a nursing team to deliver quality care.
