Job summary

Qualifications

• At least one year of CNA experience in long-term care is preferred but not required.
• Must possess and maintain a current state CNA certification.

Responsibilities

• Attend to the individual needs of residents, including bathing, feeding, dressing, and ambulating.
• Take and record residents' vital signs and assist with lifting, moving and transporting.
• Recognize and report changes in resident conditions to a nurse manager.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, peers and supervisors.
• Report abnormal changes to nursing staff.
• Assist the nurse with duties as directed.
