Job summary

Lifepoint Health, Inc. is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join Providence Swedish Rehabilitation Hospital in Lynnwood, WA for the night shift. You will provide essential patient care under nursing supervision, promoting comfort and safety for residents.

The role emphasizes basic care tasks, vital signs, and collaboration with the nursing team, with a focus on high-quality patient outcomes in a 40-bed rehabilitation setting.

Qualifications

• CPR/BCLS certification required.
• License: Current state certification as Nursing Assistant.
• Minimum six months of experience in an acute care or long-term care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic patient care tasks including bathing, grooming, and mobility assistance.
• Provide general nursing support such as positioning, lifting, turning, and using special equipment.
• Assist with toileting needs using bedpans, urinals, commodes, or ambulation to the bathroom.
• Take and record temperature, pulse, respiration, weight, height, blood pressure, and intake/output measurements accurately and document in a timely manner.
• Prepare patient rooms for admission and transfer, ensuring cleanliness and equipment readiness.
• Maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe environment with attention to ventilation and lighting.
• Support patient admission, transfer, and discharge procedures, including handling of patient belongings.
• Answer patient call lights, phones, and pages, responding promptly and appropriately.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
