Job summary

Pinnacle Living is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant for the Roanoke, VA location to support nursing staff and assist residents toward their maximum independence. This full-time night shift operates 7:00pm–7:00am with weekend requirements and location-specific duties.

Qualified applicants graduate from an approved CNA program, hold Virginia CNA certification, and have CPR/AED. Previous experience is preferred.

Qualifications

Graduate from an approved Nursing Assistant Program.
Credentialed as a Certified Nursing Assistant in Virginia.
CPR/AED certification required.
2 years of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide residents with activities of daily living: personal hygiene, grooming, dressing, nourishment, skin care, mobility assistance as per care plan.
Assist residents with dining, including feeding assistance when needed.
Support life enrichment activities per individualized service plan.
Observe residents’ behavior and report changes to the nurse in charge for plan revisions.
Assist residents in bed, walking, and bathroom as needed.
Change bed linens at least twice per week or as required.
Complete weights and vitals per care plan.
Document care in medical records and update plans as needed.
Respond to call lights promptly within guidelines.
Support residents at social and dining events and encourage participation.
Provide emotional support, safety, and comfort to residents.
