Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved Nursing Assistant Program.
• Credentialed as a Certified Nursing Assistant in Virginia.
• CPR/AED certification required.
• 2 years of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide residents assistance with activities of daily living (hygiene, grooming, dressing, nourishment).
• Assist residents with dining, including feeding when needed.
• Support life enrichment activities per individualized plan.
• Observe and report changes to nurse for care plan revisions.
• Assist residents in bed, walking, and bathroom needs.
• Change bed linens and assist with mobility as needed.
• Document care in medical records and respond to call lights.
• Engage residents in social and dining events and provide emotional support.
