Job summary

Sauk Prairie Healthcare in Wisconsin is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our night-shift team. This part-time, 0.6 FTE role supports nurses by delivering direct patient care and assisting with daily living activities in a busy healthcare setting.

Under RN supervision you will monitor vital signs, help with hygiene, mobility, and turning, document changes, and participate in bedside shift reports. Flexibility to float to other units and attend required in-services is expected.

Qualifications

• Required: Valid CNA certification.
• Required: Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 3 months of hire.
• Preferred: Previous experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Take patient vital signs and relay changes to the nurse in charge.
• Assist with bathing, hygiene, dressing, and daily living activities.
• Assist with toileting, turning and ambulation per policy.
• Record glucose, intake and output and communicate patient status changes.
• Float to other units as needed and participate in bedside reporting.
