Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist in admission of patients to the unit and orient to the unit and equipment.
• Respond to patient needs with direct assistance or by reporting to appropriate staff.
• Assist with implementing the nursing plan of care by carrying out delegated tasks.
• Support patient safety and proper use of equipment and supplies.
• Access to medication/supply room to retrieve patient care items.
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked patient environment.
• Participate in cost containment and accurate charging for services.
• Participate in educational and Performance Improvement activities.
• Demonstrate adherence to HIP initiatives and patient throughput policies.
• Other duties as assigned.
