Job summary

Mercyhealth is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant for a full-time night shift in our skilled nursing facility. You will provide compassionate resident care, assist with activities of daily living, and document observations in the medical record per CMS RAI requirements.

A minimum of one year of CNA experience is required, along with current CNA certification in the state. CPR or BLS certification must be obtained within 90 days.

Qualifications

• One year experience as a CNA (minimum).
• Strong patient care and documentation skills.
• Ability to follow CMS and facility policies.

Responsibilities

• Provides resident care as assigned and per routine, per CMS and facility standards.
• Assists with activities of daily living: bathing, dressing, grooming, transfers, ambulation and meals.
• Documents daily care and observations in the medical record.
• Responds to call lights; maintains safe, clean patient environment.
