Job summary

Heywood Healthcare is hiring a Nurse Aide/CNA in Massachusetts for night shifts (11:00pm–7:30am), three shifts weekly, with every-other weekend and holiday requirements. The role supports patient care, basic patient data collection, and daily living activities under licensed supervision.

The candidate should have appropriate CNA licensure or accepted nursing program credentials, CPR/other certifications, and the ability to maintain safety and infection control standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred.
• AHA CPR certification obtained within 60 days of hire.
• MOAB class required within 60 days of hire.
• Massachusetts CNA licensure or equivalent from out of state.
• 75 hours in an accredited nursing program to include first rotation.
• Active EMT/Paramedic or Home Health Aide certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care per standards under supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Collects basic health data as directed by a licensed nurse.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Maintains accurate documentation of patient information.
• Upholds infection control precautions and safety standards.
• Prepares rooms and assists with transfers and daily tasks.
