Job summary

Penrose-St. Francis Health Services in Colorado Springs seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for full-time night shifts.

You will provide direct and indirect nursing care under the direction of a Registered Nurse, following policies to optimize patient care and support a compassionate, team-based environment. Responsibilities include assisting with hygiene, mobility, vitals, documentation, and safe delegated tasks while maintaining patient confidentiality and quality care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of an approved Nursing Assistant program.
• State CNA license in good standing required.

Responsibilities

• Provides quality patient care including comfort and hygiene measures, skin care, safety, transport, and nutrition/elimination.
• Promptly answers call lights and reports status changes to RN accurately and timely.
• Documents vital signs, intake/output, nutrition, hygiene, weights, and care provided; maintains patient charts.
• Assists with delegated patient care tasks supervised by the nurse.
• Provides person-centered care with respect and collaboration within the team.
• Communicates concerns regarding hazards or errors to the health care team.
