Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital - Durham is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a PRN/Per Diem night shift in Durham, NC. The role involves direct patient care, hygiene assistance, and coordinated rounds in a post-ICU recovery setting.

Responsibilities include assisting with bathing, transporting patients, maintaining clean rooms and equipment, and supporting the care team. Hospital CNA experience and BLS are required within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Hospital experience as nursing assistant or CNA certification required or being RN student.
• BLS within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform bathing using basin-less bath products and assist with hygiene.
• Conduct hourly rounds to check patient needs.
• Transport patients to treatment centers and assist movers.
• Maintain cleanliness of bedpans, urinals and wheelchairs.
• Keep patient rooms clean and orderly.
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
