Job summary

Wesley Village in Macomb, IL is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant for the third shift (10:00 p.m.–6:00 a.m.) to join a compassionate night team. The role requires an IL CNA certification, reliability, and willingness to work every other weekend, with paid training and a strong patient-centered focus.

The position offers full-time/part-time schedules, competitive pay, weekend and night differentials, and opportunities for growth within a multi-service retirement community.

Qualifications

• Active IL CNA certification in good standing.
• Availability for third shift 10:00 p.m.–6:00 a.m.
• Ability to work every other weekend.
• Occasional Designated Overtime shifts may be required.
• Able to meet physical requirements and have reliable transportation.
• Long-term care or healthcare experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and repositioning.
• Answer call lights promptly and respond to residents’ needs.
• Obtain and document vital signs, weights, intake, output, and other information.
• Assist with transfers and mobility using proper techniques and equipment.
• Conduct rounds and support resident safety throughout the night.
• Observe residents and promptly report changes to the charge nurse.
• Maintain residents’ dignity, privacy, comfort, and confidentiality.
• Follow infection-control, safety, and documentation procedures.
• Work cooperatively with nurses and other care team members.
