Job summary

Responsibilities

• Assist in admission of patients to the unit and orient to the unit, routine, and equipment.
• Respond to patient needs with direct assistance or by reporting to the appropriate person.
• Assist with implementing the nursing plan of care by carrying out delegated patient care tasks.
• Maintain patient safety through proper use of equipment and supplies.
• Access medication/supply room to retrieve items for patient care use.
• Maintain a well-stocked, clean patient environment and assist with charging for patient services.
