Job summary

5 Star Cares is hiring for full-time or part-time night shift Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), Direct Support Professionals (DSPs), Home Health Aides (HHAs), and Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) in the Tampa area. Location: Lutz, FL. Shift: 12-hour nights.

Pay ranges from $15.00 to $19.00 per hour, depending on experience and certification. Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, providing compassionate, person-centered care, monitoring patient conditions,

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in acute care, rehabilitation, skilled nursing, long-term care, or related healthcare setting.
• Experience supporting individuals with higher-acuity needs preferred.
• Current BLS/CPR and First Aid Certification.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and documentation skills.
• Ability to safely lift, transfer, and assist individuals up to 50 pounds.
• Must pass AHCA Level 2 Background Screening.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, toileting, mobility).
• Provide compassionate, person-centered care to individuals with IDD and higher-acuity needs.
• Monitor and report changes to the nursing team.
• Complete accurate documentation and maintain confidentiality.
• Help create a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment.
