Job summary

Responsibilities

• Performs general resident care under supervision of the Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse.
• Answers phone calls, routes callers, takes messages and provides routine information.
• Communicates cooperatively with physicians, residents, families and healthcare team.
• Keeps health information confidential per Florida statutes and HIPAA.
• Maintains cleanliness of work station areas and supplies.
• Schedules appointments, transportation and escorts.
• Assembles and prepares medical records of residents and analyzes records for completeness.
• Audits and updates active records and reports missing documentation.
• Maintains logs and worksheets.
• Maintains regular attendance and adherence to Orlando Health policies.
• Ensures compliance with all Orlando Health policies.
