Novant Health is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for the Med/Surg 3 night shift (7pm–7am) at NH NHRMC. You will deliver patient-centered care, support daily activities, and promote comfort and dignity throughout each patient’s stay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required and completion of NAI program.
• One year of relevant experience is preferred; one year required in Assisted Living settings.
• NAI certification and registry listing as NA I are required; medication safety AME is required.
• Facility-specific curricula for restrictive interventions within 3 months of hire is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care by anticipating needs and promoting comfort and dignity.
• Collaborate with nurses and providers, sharing observations to support care plans.
• Guide safe mobility and fall-prevention practices to keep patients progressing safely.
• Document vitals and patient status accurately and timely to support decisions.
• Create a calm, supportive environment for patients and families to ease anxiety.
• Assist with activities of daily living and maintain a clean, safe environment under RN supervision.
• Assisted Living units: assist residents with daily living and report status changes to the Charge Nurse.
