Job summary

Sunny View Retirement Community is seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant for the night shift to perform routine patient and resident care under the supervision of the Charge Nurse, and in accordance with policies and standards.

The position offers full-time hours with a 4x2 night schedule. Compensation is in the pay range of $25.83–$26.36 per hour, with essential certifications and a focus on safety, infection control, and high-quality resident care.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and professional written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides quality customer service to residents, families, and staff.
• Medication management.
• Follows infection control techniques in patient/resident care.
• Observes and reports signs and symptoms of changes in condition.
• Exchanges information necessary for quality patient/resident care.
• Prioritizes patient/resident activities based on current care needs.
• Maintains documentation as required by federal and state regulations and company policy.
• Provides proper electronic record-keeping documentation.
• Performs duties safely and uses equipment correctly in patient/resident care; follows safety protocols.
• Maintains highest standards of cleanliness and follows health guidelines in food handling.
• Attends mandatory in-service meetings and complies with policies and procedures.
• Supports accident prevention with safe work practices.
