Job summary

Cedars-Sinai Marina Hospital is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to provide basic nursing care for non-acute patients during the night shift. You will support patient needs, monitor intake and output, assist with feeding, and communicate changes to the RN and care team.

Qualifications include a High School diploma or GED and a current BLS certification; 6 months to 1 year of related experience is preferred. English proficiency and basic computer skills are required.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Provides basic nursing care to non-acutely ill patients within the nursing attendant's scope of practice.
• Performs other duties as assigned within the nursing attendant's scope of practice.
• Maintains patient fluids balance and assists with feeding as appropriate for age and condition.
• Notifies licensed personnel when patient reports pain or changes in status.
• Communicates clearly with RN, unit leadership, and other staff regarding patient status and needs.
• Documents care and adheres to unit policies and shift requirements.
