Job summary

Avir at Terrell in Terrell, Texas is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for the night shift to support residents with compassionate care and clinical tasks. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor health needs, and work closely with the health care team to ensure comfort and safety.

Qualifications

• Must be listed on the Texas Nurse Aide Registry, or become certified within four months of hire.
• Ability to work independently, stay organized, and remain calm under pressure.
• Patience, tact, and a positive attitude with residents, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and more
• Provide toileting assistance and turn and reposition residents as needed
• Answer call lights promptly and courteously to determine resident needs
• Assist residents with walking and transportation, using a gait belt for all transfers and ambulation
• Monitor vital signs, weights, and intake and output as directed
• Provide catheter care as required
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents
