Job summary

Avir at Angle in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Night Shift team. You will support residents with daily living activities, monitor health needs, and collaborate with a caring healthcare team.

The ideal candidate is listed on the Texas Nurse Aide Registry or will become certified within four months, capable of working independently, staying organized, and maintaining composure in challenging moments.

Qualifications

• Must be listed on the Texas Nurse Aide Registry, or become certified within four months of hire
• Ability to work independently, stay organized, and remain calm under pressure
• Patience, tact, and a positive attitude with residents, families, and staff
• Ability to move intermittently throughout the workday and safely assist with resident transfers

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and more
• Provide toileting assistance and turn and reposition residents as needed
• Answer call lights promptly and courteously to determine resident needs
• Assist residents with walking and transportation, using a gait belt for all transfers and ambulation
• Monitor vital signs, weights, and intake and output as directed
• Provide catheter care as required
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents
