Avir Trilogy is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant for the night shift in Terrell, Texas. You will provide compassionate care to residents, assist with daily activities, monitor health needs, and support a dedicated healthcare team in a hospital-like setting.

You will work on a night schedule, ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout shifts. The role emphasizes independent work, calmness under pressure, and strong interpersonal skills when interacting with residents, families, and staff.

Qualifications

• Must be listed on the Texas Nurse Aide Registry, or become certified within four months of hire.
• Ability to work independently, stay organized, and remain calm under pressure.
• Patience, tact, and a positive attitude with residents, families, and staff.
• Comfort working with residents who are ill, disabled, elderly, or at times upset.
• Ability to move intermittently throughout the workday and safely assist with resident transfers.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and more.
• Provide toileting assistance and turn and reposition residents as needed.
• Answer call lights promptly and courteously to determine resident needs.
• Assist residents with walking and transportation, using a gait belt for all transfers and ambulation.
• Monitor vital signs, weights, and intake and output as directed.
• Provide catheter care as required.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
